Basketball

Brett has been playing on a city league basketball team and Benjamin gets so excited when we go to the games. On this particular night Benjamin had to get himself dressed and had to wear his basketball shorts. He was ready to play with the big guys!

Where In the World??

So after a long few months of holding in the good news... My parents have been called to serve as Mission Presidents for the LDS church. We are so excited, a little sad, but mainly really excited! We are not sure where they are going yet. The only thing we do know is that they are going on an English speaking mission.

Congratulations Mom and Dad! We love you!

Painting...

I couldn't resist posting these pictures. This is finger painting for the first time and it didn't take long for Benjamin to figure out that he could paint on his body. He loved every second of it and loved even more that it landed him in the kitchen sink for a quick scrub down.

Potty Time!!

Benjamin has been ready to use the toilet for a long time, but there were always things that stopped us. Holidays, travel and just me not wanting my baby to grow up. We finally decided to go ahead with the scary task. I figured that it would be difficult and was prepped for a week of staying in the house and having a hard time. But of course my little guy surprised me. He loves wearing his underwear and tells me all the time that he is a big boy. We even ventured out after two days of training and he had no problem!

Ben and I went to the store and stocked up on treats, juice boxes and dried fruit to use as prizes. Ben decided that the m&m's were good, but he really wanted dried apricots and cranberries as his treat after he went in the toilet. What can I say, this guy is my healthy eater!

So grown up. I might Cry!

Deer Valley Weekend

A few of our friends came for the weekend from Newport Beach for a ski trip. We had such a great time boarding at the Canyons and spending time together.

Christmas Day happened to be the most beautiful day ever. Brett and I decided to get out for a good run since it had been awhile since our last outside run (the gym is not the same).
