When I started dating Brett he got me hooked on running. When Benjamin was 10 months old I ran my first half marathon and then right after that ran a marathon. I found some friends when we moved to Louisiana that love running as much, if not more, than me. We trained for the beach marathon and had a great time.
I finished, not in the time I wanted, but I finished. There is always next time.

Ben and Brett were waiting for me at about mile 21 and I was so excited to see them. Ben ran right up to me and gave me a hug and quickly pulled away when he realized how sweaty I was.
